Dr. Eric Schmitt has dedicated the last 18 years to transforming lives through orthopedic care. With a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Physiology and Human Performance Studies from Adelphi University and a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree cum laude from Long Island University, his journey reflects a commitment to excellence. Driven by a passion for Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, Dr. Schmitt is also a certified Dry Needle Practitioner and a Certified Upper Quarter Physical Therapist through Johns Hopkins University. As the medical director for the Danbury Diesel Arena football team, the Danbury Hat Tricks hockey team, and the Danbury Westerners baseball team, he plays a vital role in the athletic community, where his expertise shines. Dr. Schmitt is dedicated to giving back, raising funds for disabled veterans through the Canine Equine Veterans Alliance because he believes in serving those who have served us. His entrepreneurial spirit has led him to own and operate multiple successful physical therapy clinics throughout Connecticut and New York. In his spare time, he passionately pursues his second doctoral degree while cherishing every moment with his beautiful wife, four children, and four dogs.
