Fractures

Broken Bones

Fractures are most often caused by things such as sports injuries, falls, and vehicle accidents. When recovering from a fracture or surgery to repair a fracture, physical therapy can be extremely useful to speed up overall recovery time and promote healing. Several treatments are available for this type of injury and the staff at Hat City Physical Therapy will be happy to answer any of your questions on the matter.

Post Surgery Treatment

Sometimes fractures are complex and need surgery to properly repair to give them the best chance of healing. Once your broken bone has been stabilized by surgery, there are specialized methods of therapy that can increase blood flow to the affected area which in turn can promote faster healing. Often times it can be very limiting to our daily lives and schedules to have a broken bone since it restricts movement and can prevent the patient from performing simple tasks such as driving, working, and daily self-care. The good news is by implementing the therapy methods we offer, your recovery time can be greatly reduced.
